A Mountain of Men

"A Mountain of Men" was a site-specific installation built on the wall of Silvermine Art Center  in New Canaan, CT.  The amount of army men used in the piece referred to the amount of American soldiers killed in Iraq. More soldiers were added as more men and women were killed.This piece was in the new members exhibit.

"Here she displays the superb "Mountain of Men and Women," an installation of toy soldiers on a wall that incorporates the elements of change and time as the componentsrandomly fall to the floor.Imbedded in the impermanence of the work is the timely message regarding the transient nature of conflict."

Cover Up

Cover Up was exhibited on East Houston Street in New York on the wall to the garden at "Le Petite Versaille" ( a community garden used for art/performance).

Fenced in Rocker

FENCED IN ROCKER  This series of sculptures was exhibited  at  Gallery 13 in Danbury, Ct. It was part of a body of work based on domestic issues. Some of these pieces were interactive and others kinetic. Also see photos of Fenced in Rocker.
